I have made a spreadsheet to help people figure out whether they should buy a house or a condo or keep renting. Note that even if the numbers say you end up with more beans doing one than the other doesn't mean you _have_ to do it that way. You are allowed to make a decision that something is worth paying more for if it's important to you, as long as you can do it sustainably. Here is the link:
