I just got a fucking iud and it hurt like ... unbelievably. I got home about 30 mins ago. Right now I could seriously just kill myself.

My girl hated her IUD for the first few days, and she was paranoid about it for the next couple. Now she loves it. Hang in there.

I'm gonna hang in there til I die if necessary, since my insurance wouldn't cover it and I had to pay out of pocket.

Yikes! I've heard those are pretty painful up front for some women. Did you go copper or get the Mirena?

I got the mirena and the problem was that he was trying to take the instrument out and the iud kept coming with it, so he had to reinsert like 3 times. It was ridiculous. I'm still in amazing pain right now, 12 hours later. My uterus feels like it's having a seizure.

1000% better! i was shocked when i woke up, because i seriously thought last night that i was going to have to go to the hospital to get some painkillers today.

like no pain at all except when sitting in a weird position with a belt on. it was kinda digging in and i got a little crampy again, but some tylenol solved the problem.

i think i will take 2 more advil pm tonite and i should be fine.

well i must say that 24 hours after i made that post, i was 100% again. but that first day ... i thought it was my death. and i'm not even kidding.

ahh i didn't have my computer running for the longest time.

i'm happy you got an IUD and got over the pain the next day. i love mine, seriously. i haven't had a period in like 1.5 years. sex it up!

yeah dude, it was funny when i was laying there writhing in pain because i thought of you - specifically, i thought: "WHY DOES DIANNE LIKE THIS THING!?"

but then the next day the pain was completely gone and in a couple of days we certainly were sexing it up. it's so fantastic, and i have such an awesome sense of security for five excellent years!
