i went up to my parents' house this weekend to do laundry, and we went out to dinner on saturday. i was all for pf chang's, or this indian restaurant in toms river that is amazing, but my mom talked everyone into ruby tuesday. it was a completely mediocre meal except for the martinis, and i'm starting to realize that it was due to the fact that

oh no! you're changing the global sauce climate!

seriously though, i love a good creamy sauce when the time is right. but other times, i would like a clear sauce, or none at all. it's like restaurants are completely ignoring the desires of 2/3 of the population and catering only to the creamy sauce lovers, and that frustrates me.
