I am totally jealous about the DPNs! THAT IS SUCH A GOOD PRICE!

The toe isn't hard at all. I do the short row toe though, because that way there's no seam bugging my toes. I also do the short row heel, because I HATE picking up all those effing stitches. This pattern is great for seeing what the hell I'm talking about.

ooh! thanks for that pattern! i'll have to give the short rows a try on the socks for me. socks that are not in the "lumberjack red" colorway.

and seriously, i put my highest bid at $35, figuring i was going to be outbid, but somehow i won. i was so excited. the needles are new in the package and everything! sometimes ebay is not the devil!
