Seducing Severus Snape

Seduction is the process of deliberately enticing a person to engage. What might make the very face of Slytherin “engage” with a woman who appears to be his opposite? Should Hermione attempt a sneaky plan or a blatant request? As you will see both approaches work equally well. Read all about how Hermione seduces Severus Snape.

1. Looking at her image in the mirror inside her wardrobe one last time, finalising her look, Hermione knew it was now or never. “You look stunning, darling. Will you tell me who you want to catch with that little number?” The mirror had been giving her advice ever since Hermione’s initial request that she wanted to look hot. Hermione smiled. Little number seemed to be the correct words. She was wearing a dark grey dress, which was hugging her curves. The dress consisted of two layers of silk, gliding over each other when she moved, giving you a hint of what was underneath, but at the same time making it impossible to determine if what you were seeing was indeed there. The dress had a plunging neckline, showing enough cleavage to entice any man, with a little bit of black lace around the edge. The hemline didn’t have any lace, but you could see the two different layers ending one just above the other in an asymmetrical line. On the right the dress came down to about mid-thigh, while on the left it trailed down almost to her ankle. It was a dress fit for dancing the Tango.

But the really interesting part about her little number was what was underneath it, for even Hermione didn’t know what that was yet. It was a simple set of undergarments normally, a bra and knickers, with garters and matching stockings, but it had a special touch to it and that was the whole reason for ever buying such an expensive set of lingerie in the first place. But what that special touch was, that was for Severus Snape to find out.

2. Hermione found her eyes immediately zeroing in to his groin, suppressing a girlish giggle.

He looked at her with a very put-upon expression and noticed what she was looking at. His hands covered his barely concealed endowment with lightning speed.

He wanted to put his bathrobe back on and get out of the steamy room only to have her snatch the garment away.

"Miss Granger," he hissed, "This is not playtime."

"No, it isn't," she said wistfully and removed her own robe. She suddenly wished for more mature nightclothes, feeling embarrassed by her Winnie-the-Pooh pyjamas. She didn't even like the damn bear!

"Miss…" was all his suddenly tight throat allowed.

She looked at him with a shy smile and discarded her pyjamas, standing naked in front of her teacher, who was breathing heavily.

"Get in the water," he croaked and cleared his throat.

"You first. Otherwise you'll do a runner."

That had actually not been his plan, but he motioned her to turn so he could remove his last garments. He proceeded to walk over to the steps that safely led into the pool, which was already full, his hands still covering his manhood.

3. Severus snorted. He was obviously happy to hear something to Harry’s disadvantage. “And young Mr Weasley?”

“He actually made the most sense.”

She didn’t think that Severus needed to know that Ron’s reaction had been one of complete horror. “What the hell do you think you are playing at, chasing that Greasy Git? For god’s sake, Hermione, don’t do anything so thick. He’ll make your life a living hell, and you’ll probably be mentally scarred for life. It really isn’t worth it, just to win some stupid bet.”

Hermione continued, “He pointed out that the bet was a silly idea. And I thought, he’s right. What did I really want? To win the bet or to actually persuade you that I was worth taking seriously? Ron thought that you would know about the silly bet one way or another. And I thought that if you did, it didn’t take a genius to work out that you would be insulted if you thought that was the reason behind me asking you to dance. Not to mention the fact that you would be very likely to demonstrate just how unhappy you were with the situation in the most humiliating manner possible. And quite right too; if someone did it to me, I would be livid.”

The smile on Severus’s face was neither pretty nor pleasant. “Oh, yes,” he said. “You would have regretted it for a very long time.”

4. The knee was still there a couple of minutes later. The lightest of pressures would do it, Hermione thought, just enough to find out if he was aware of their bodies touching. The eyes that met hers, and the continued contact under the table, was enough to confirm the touch was not accidental. Hermione’s throat felt suddenly dry and she picked up her glass for a quick sip of her tepid port.

With a muted cough, she caught Severus’ attention again. Bashfully, she placed a hand on his upper sleeve and leaned in closer to whisper, “May I continue my case or are you still yearning to know more about young Gregory’s potty training and little Paul’s missing front tooth?”

Severus’ groan was equally discrete. “Accuse away, anything short of an actual sentence to Azkaban would be preferable to more Weasley trivia. I swear they are intent on filling every crevice of Hogwarts with their offspring, like a plague of locusts.”

“Don’t go biblical on me, but I see what you mean. Paul is a great kid though.”

“Do you like children?” Severus asked politely.

“Not on principle,” she admitted, “but I am constantly being told I will think differently of my own, and children are people, too.

5. So while in the midst of preparing a complex nerve deadening elixir under his ever watchful and meticulous eyes - Hermione spilled rabbit’s blood down her arm and onto her Potion professor’s hands. It was not painful, only messy. He passed her a cloth to wipe herself and berated her clumsiness and wastefulness. He had been rather calm considering he knew, just as well as she did, what happens when pure rabbit’s blood made contact with human flesh.

It was one of the simplest, most inexpensive aphrodisiacs in the known world. Fast acting, long lasting, endurance rebuilding - with no antidote except time.

She confirmed it first, fisting her hands into his hair and snatching his lips ruefully with her own.

6. Hermione was silent long enough to frustrate him, apparently, because moments later he took the fleshy part of her earlobe between his teeth, worrying it gently as he pressed his groin against her arse.

Blinking to clear her head, Hermione jabbed her wand into the security hole provided, bringing the lift to a jolting halt. Sliding the wand awkwardly back into its holster, she pushed violently away from the lift doors, turning at the same time and grabbing his arm while sweeping his feet from under him with one of hers. She followed him to the floor of the lift, straddling his hips as her hands gripped and held his forearms, immobilising him.

"I only 'act' when I'm under orders. Do I appear to be under orders now?"

Snape stared at her, appearing to consider this. "Well, you are wearing your Auror robes and you did just use your authority to make this lift nicely private for us-"

7. "I wanted you to find me," she whispered. She was trembling now from her head to her feet and filled with mortification. Unable to turn her head, she compromised and averted her eyes.

"You wanted me to find you in compromising positions with young men," he mused.

"Yes," she whispered, not trusting her voice to speak more loudly.

"Look at me when I'm talking to you, Miss Granger," he said quietly.

Lulled by the non-threatening tone, Hermione looked back into his face.

"Tell me why." He spoke more quietly still.

Hermione looked straight into his dark chocolate eyes and said, "I wanted to make you jealous."

"And why would I be jealous of a school girl?"

8. “Draco, what the hell are you doing here?” Pansy asked in exasperation. “Didn’t our plan work?”

“Oh, yeah, I had her right where I wanted her. It was all perfect!” he said bitterly. “She would have been eating out of my hand after that!”

“Would have been? Didn’t you go through with it?” she asked curiously.

“No! Snape showed up just before I could.” He shook his head and scowled. “Now, he thinks me to be some bloke that takes advantage of girls. I lost House points-not that I care much about that-and he’s going to punish me somehow. I’ll bet that he’s even going to tell my mother and father about this.” He sat down dejectedly. “How embarrassing. Do you have any idea what they will say?” He sighed. “Leave me be.”

“Oh, no, no,” Pansy said, sticking her palm in front of him. “We had a deal. I did what I was supposed to do.”

“Right,” he said, standing and taking a pouch from his robes. “There. 50 Galleons for your part in it.”

“You know, Draco,” Pansy said quietly as she took the sack, “when I said that I wouldn’t mind it earlier, I meant it, but I would want things to be different for us.”

“What?” he asked in disbelief. “As something more than just casual sex?”

“Yes.”

9. Hermione laughed. Snape furrowed his brows and gripped his fork tighter, which only made her smile more.

He gave her a look of pure irritation. "And you married Mr. Weasley and have 22 ginger children. I don't care about the Hogwarts' gossip."

Hermione sucked in a breath. It felt like he had punched her in the stomach. Her vision blurred as tears shimmered in her eyes. She bit her lip to keep from crying.

"He died," she informed him.

Snape looked at her horrified. "What?"

"Ron died. Five years ago. He was an Auror like me and he was pursuing some pretty nasty wizards in Albania and he...he didn't come home."

At least Snape had the decency to look chagrined although he didn't apologize. "I didn't know."

Hermione shook her head. "Of course not. How could you? You've been gone for 14 years. I don't suppose they deliver the Daily Prophet here in Chicago."

10. “Sneaking off?” inquired Snape.

She took her wand and lit the lantern so she could better see his expression.

“I have to go,” she replied hesitantly. Should she try to explain her reasoning or just let things unfold naturally?

“I am not stopping you,” replied Severus with a slight sneer. She didn’t like where this was headed. Perhaps it would be helpful if she clarified her position and got straight to the point.

“I’d like to do this again, Severus.”

“Well, yes, as spring is just around the corner, I am sure there will be plenty of opportunities for further precipitation of this magnitude soon.”

She sighed inwardly. The sarcasm was back, just as she had predicted.
