I didn't get into Davis.

I will be attending UCSC in the fall. I will get a masters in history before I get my PhD.

I'm ok with this. I can still learn a lot from Lynn and Bruce.

it's ok...i did get into the masters program at ucsc. and i love santa cruz. this just means it'll be a little longer (two more years...) before i can work on the PhD. and, you know, i bet i could do it in a year and a half.

Sorry to hear about Davis.....but at least you don't have to change surroundings. I think being somewhere familer (and a place that you love) will be good for you.
