I can relearn some things, like... what crabs are, or what my favorite food was. Things that can be repeated. Experiences, though, I'm afraid are entirely lost when they've been forgotten.

Oh, I've been working on that, actually! I've been trying to write down all of my day's experiences, including the people I meet. And I make sure to spend a few hours studying my own mind, in the night.
I do... I miss him a lot already...
[and then a chuckle]
Though he's not a very little bundle anymore, I must admit, but I like to think something like that doesn't change in the heart of a mother.
