Where can a girl get ancient texts and a nice fur coat around here?

river song: archaeologist, a vain attempt to distract oneself, this clothing is atrocious, let it snow let it snow let it snow

1. Nowhere.

2. Skin your own.

1. Every world has original texts, including one trapped in space and time. Surely the scientists keep record of whatever they've been doing -- it's simply hidden.

2. Wonderfully astute advice, though I had hoped to avoid covering my walls in blood so early in my stay here.

1. Then good luck getting to them. The Animus take poorly to anyone interfering with them, and I do not doubt that extends to the scientists.

2. We do what we must.

1. I've gotten information out of far tighter places. I'm certain I can accomplish something during my stay here.

2. I fear I can't argue with that one, so have a question, instead. Your name?

A full fur coat or just one trimmed as such?

Either would be sufficient.

Trimmed would be easier. I've been... playing around with some tanning and could probably have a rabbit fur collar and cuffs made up within a couple of days. Assuming you have an appropriate jacket for trimming of course. Otherwise, it'd be another day or so to find one.

The question is, what is it worth to you?

A nice fur coat is worth the world to a lady, darling.

What would you be willing to receive?

I heard there's a library, but I'm not sure where it is, miss- what kind of texts are you interested in?

I'd love to know more about the origins of this world -- ancient or not.

If it helped explain how this world- happened, that could be pretty useful. Maybe the people who caused it- I've only heard them referred to as scientists- would know more about it? I've never seen them, though.

The realm of possibility is extraordinary! I would love to speak to these scientists. Do you know anything about them?

Could try the library. I'm not sure about the coat.

The library was something of a bust -- but perhaps it's been looted already.

Could've been. I haven't exactly looked around in it.

And you call yourself a Torchwood agent.

If you find either, especially the texts, would you be so kind as to share how you came by them?

Provided a certain dork in tweed doesn't beat you to it -- happily.
