~Thirty-Eighth Spectacle~

Haha... I admit that I'm curious, and now seems as good of time as any to pose this question. ♥

Given the option to return to your respective homes, would you?
Now, this might some obvious, right? But let us add a few conditions~

First -- those that have died (outside Luceti) will return to being dead ( Read more... )

I admit, it is a hard decision to make.

I've been reunited with the friends I never imagined I'd see again.

...I'm very happy to be with them, but--

I accepted my death. It was my time and I would do nothing to change it.

You would do nothing to change it? Given the circumstances of your brother's madness and in eventual demise (not to mention the pain inflicted on Kratos and Yuan) one might question the validity of that stance.

My brother's madness...?

I can't allow you to say such things.

He is acting strangely, but I believe it is the fault of this place.

Ah... have Kratos and Yuan not explained it to you as of yet, or did you choose not to believe?

Wah! This is so very strange! Misa is learning a lot about Luceti now. Misa doesn't understand this world very much. Many people here actually told Misa that they died in "their world". Misa didn't understand at all.

Its quite simple, actually. Luceti pulls from a number of different worlds -- let us say, by way of example, there is an Earth you are from in which things a normal. Then let us say there is an Earth someone else, say me, is from, in which magic (which is considered fantasy in your version of Earth) is commonplace.

Now, let us say I died in some suitably spectacular manner... like say immolation~ I died, but immediately following my death I arrive in Luceti, quite alive.

But Misa doesn't have her Dea--- I mean. Misa lost something when she came here.

[[She did find it odd why she still had her Shinigami eyes but without her Death Note. She knew though it would be unwise to let someone she didn't know know qbout them.]]

Did you die? Oh! By the way, my name is Misa Amane. What is yours?

Even with all of those conditions in place, I would return to my world.

I would expect nothing less, but if I may inquire further -- what compels you? Is it a duty, a likeness of your world?

chikaidestroyer April 22 2008, 03:20:28 UTC
What else is needed than the desire to return from where you were taken?

Reason. Desires always have some manner of purpose or reasoning behind them. Is it merely familiarity? Is it pride at being captured in the first place? Is is a desire to return to someone(s) or something back in your world?

Feel free to not answer, of course. ♥
