Working late tonight from my old stomping grounds in south Florida, cramming to finish some paperwork before the Pyrates arrive to whisk me off into the Caribbean.

Had a lovely Yucatecan cochinita pibil at Los Almendros in Ciudad Mexico last night: cubes of young pork stewed in a red citrus & annatto sauce. One of the appetizers was spectacular,
