well done and very disturbing. i liked especially how you used the awakening of the woman/artist in the woman/mother. these two identities often seem very difficult in coexistance....

Oh, lovely, amazing! Naraku is darkly sexy and menacing at the same time - that last 'hellish smile' left me with a distinctive and creepy image.

I enjoyed the fact that you had Mrs. Higurashi, or Ayako, gaining confidence and a 're-birth' from the experience and yet this most likely destroyed Kagome in the end. Sacrifices matter, don't they...but who's to decide which person should sacrifice herself/himself in the end? *shivers*

I also liked the whole 'souls'/roles idea that Ayako mentioned in the beginning. Very perceptive woman, that Ayako. Ayako and 'Naru' together turned out to be as hot as I would have hoped - And then he would always laugh, softly but darkly, as he took her. Loved this line. The part where he 'snarled against her..' really got me as well. Dammit, girl, it was all good.

I'll be dreaming of Naraku's dark laughter tonight, thanks to you.
