Awesome!! Well done you :D It's also one on my bucket list. I have yet to do it.
Is About Time worth the watch? I really like Rachel McAdams, Bill Nighy and Richard Curtis' work, so I was quite looking forward to the film, until SFX Mag completely thrashed it..
It was much less painful than I thought it would be. Piece of cake really. I chose a time when I knew there wouldn't be too many people about and it worked perfectly.
I saw that review and it also put me off. I then looked at a few more elsewhere which weren't so scathing, so I went for it.
It was like a homage to all Richard Curtis' other works...so if you can handle that you'll like it. The characters and situations are so similar..even if there's the twist of time travel in there to spice it up a little.
All in all I enjoyed it for what it was; a nice gentle thoughtful piece.
I adore that interview. "What do you think of the fact that you were both born in 1971?" Richard: I of course think I look way younger than him *starts giggling* Martin: *mouthing 'Biiiiitch'* buhahahaha XD
I think those times are perfect for people alone. Also in the morning's or the 1 o'clock. Lots of people alone then when I go to the cinema at those times. Evenings will always be a bit more difficult I think with families and couples going I think.
I like the sound of an hommage! I will check it out then. I won't let a cynical critic stop me!! XD
