I didn't realize you were that much of a reader. I think that's cool. One of the reasons I stayed in grad school as long as I did was, in part, I got paid to sit around and read.

Hey, don't learn guitar. The world just straight up does not need any more guitar players. We could actually do with a few less. How about learning the harmonica and singing the blues?

Don't tell her that! The blues are fine and dandy for someone who wants to wallow in their sadness, but mom's don't have time for miring in misery.

Learn to play drums! The world always needs more drummers. They're incredibly hard to find (and if you drive up here you can even borrow your very own kit from me until... oh, I go plant a church someday that needs it). (Kenny is moving to Chicago btw, so it looks like Bread Box may be dissolving.)

Yay! That makes me very happy. Sharon, whom you met tonight is in MOPS with me. We actually met there 3 years ago. We were both new to the area and pregnant. Now we both have two kids and she helped us paint. MOPS is great. We meet this Tuesday at 9 a.m. A kindermusik rep will be there and I think someone who can teach us how to cut our kids' hair. Other than that, we just sit around and visit, eat good food and every other meeting we get to begin and finish a craft. All the while, our kids are down in the Moppets classes being ministered to as well. Two women, including Sharon, are believers as a result of coming. Cool.
