Today is day 2 of a new semester. Yes, last semester did end on Friday. At least this year we got a long weekend to grade finals and think about the new set of classes. The timing felt luxurious after the year we ended one term and started the new one the next day

why did i bring so much grading home? the lab notebooks, they are staring at me from across the room. help!

Yep, new term for me too. Which is good - usually the first 3-4 weeks are relatively easy (the papers and tests haven't started rolling in yet). And I seem to have some pretty cool classes, with no major behaviour problems (yet).
