I love the shifting power dynamics in this, how it isn't simply a reversal of their manager/musician relationship (Brian simultaneously thriving on/bristling at John's insults, John whirling from distant to affectionate), and how neither John nor Brian seem completely sure of what they want. It makes the porn so much hotter and more complex. So much of what I love about this under-appreciated pairing is here, I <3 it.
