It is difficult enough to be beneath Daniel, difficult enough to be lost, difficult enough to want nothing but more of Daniel hard and slicked-up inside him, want it with such a fever that he sometimes, in those moments, feels in the end this is all he is.
OUCH.
Seriously, I wish I had something more intelligent to say, but... oww. I loved the bit with Coe and the woman - it seemed to deftly encapsulate the idea that love (or lust! if you're cynical) can be a parasitic, consuming thing that often sometimes makes people act crazy... but love is also one of the few redeeming things about being human.
Hee. I kind of wish I had something more intelligent to say, too. I'm like, "Hey, two people liked that line ... do I have anything to say about it?" But I don't really. Although I'm glad you like it. :)

Oh, that's cool. :D I don't know if that idea was a conscious choice. (I have to admit the Lizard Id Brain did most of the planning for this story.) But it's something I believe, so that's awesome.
WOW. I've yet to see a more well-written portrayal of "he wants it but he hates himself" than this. I felt like a degenerate right along with him for loving it so much. This is excellent.
This was so good, holy shit. I can't stop rereading it. The self-loathing, the lustful haze that encompasses the entire thing until the very end, the way you refer to him as Kovacs the entire time, using vague references the entire time (opening him with vegetable oil-slick fingers before he pressed his thing inside. was the best, so perfect, ahhh). This is just...wonderful.

I'm so glad you liked that! I felt weird about calling him Kovacs, but this is pre-Roche and all about what Walter considers to be NOT RORSCHACH so it felt appropriate.
And re: lustful haze. YAY MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
using vague references the entire time
I'm glad you liked this too! I've often eschewed euphemisms for fear of looking silly but I really couldn't reconcile Rorschach thinking "cock" in my mind, even though I love the word. Anyway, I'm so, so happy you liked it.
A well-written take on the conflicts he’d suffer if he were to have a sex life. You did a very good job at showing how he’s haunted by indirectly-learned lessons and associations from his mother, how he’s tormented by his own lust (a battle in which I like to believe Mr. Rorschach is not as successful as he’d hope!), and offer a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel in the form of a damned fine partner. It looks like you enjoyed writing it; I hope you did. Nice work :)
Thank you! :D Yeah, I hope Rorschach loses that battle too, so long as that glimmer of light turns out to be stable and he can be happy or ... something close. :)

In a way, I did. It was very intense, though, and sometimes I was like, "GAH WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?" but overall it was a pretty good experience.
