WHAT THE FUCK!?! With the creeper Adrian and Manhattan being a dick and POOR DAN, and Laurie dying and Dan hearing Rorschach as his (conscience?) inner voice, and THIS IS GREAT.

Forgive my capslocking, but I adore every syllable of this. It's so IC and so plausible that it sort of twists my guts up. More more more, I must see what happens!!

And poor Laurie D: She's much too airheaded in the movie to even consider doing anything like that, but I can totally see it happening here in the GNverse. And poor Rorschach, just being all betrayed and let down inside Dan's head.

And poor Dan, just... so much hate in him. It's honestly kind of heartbreaking to watch him struggle like this. D: I loved the bargaining stage, where he was promising to be a Good Jew... well, mostly I love fics that deal with his Judaism and that was one of my favorite parts.
