Meme!

Name a female character I have ever written and I will attempt a drabble about her. If you give me a keyword, lyric, or picture I will use it if it sparks something for me.

Ok, if you really feel compelled to give me teh menz, I'll do men too. The meme was just women. I... probably should write more.

to any passing fad, though the story never ends, to more than one dimension

Val: thank the heavens for their elasticity

Malia: my missionary in a foreign field

Chris: say you'll be all right come tomorrow
but tomorrow might not be here for you

Joanne: our work is never over

Pepper: the only thing that seems to work at all is you

Valentine loved the stars. She'd lie on her back for hours just watching the twinkling, hoping for a shooting star, trying to remember exactly where in orbit Battleschool was that week. It was odd, though, that every night, she'd look at the same stars, the same seemingly-static flecks of light, but know that it was a few degrees to the left or the right or up or down from where it was the night before. Odd, but somehow right. If the stars were still changing, still moving, then Ender had a reason to still be out there. They couldn't get rid of him yet.

Once The Other had left, Malia sat on her bed, just looking at the little shrine in the corner. She didn't want to have to touch him again. Once she had realized that her bleeding was even more irregular than it had been, she had stopped seeing him at night, and honestly didn't miss it one bit. However, she had always cared for The Other, and couldn't turn down something like that. She would be a mother, and she'd be the best one she could be in this cold, forsaken place. It was what The Other wanted.

It never got old, interstellar travel. Every time they had to go to Coruscant for a Speaking, every time they came back to Tatooine, Angie would plaster herself by the nearest window and watch the stars fly by. Stars, planets, the occasional ship or satellite, anything she could see was fascinating. Maybe it came from only being on one planet for so long, maybe it was an innate sense of wonder she somehow got from her namesake, maybe it was just her own personality, but whatever it was, Angie wouldn't trade it for any 'verse she knew.
