FFS, I told myself last night that I wasn't allowed to think about this, but... I can't believe it's been ten years - ten years - and people are still demonising and threatening people who dare:

1. Read Smashed in a way that Buffy is not a victim ( Read more... )

fandom, die fools, rants

That was so sad! :sob:

Heaving her gravid body up the cabbage leaf, Buffy groaned with the effort. She could feel she was ready. More than ready, she couldn't wait for her pregnancy to end. Perhaps it was the inter-species mating, but her abdomen bulged much more than it should with her eggs. She hoped her mixed species babies would like cabbage, cabbage was good for them, but Spike hadn't seemed impressed. He'd made her stay up well past her bedtime yet had been more interested in the false sun that had turned the darkness to a sickly orange. Orange was not a good look for her delicate wings ( ... )

*collapses into giggles* I can just imagine Spike's little mothy face as he tries to take down that streetlight...

I was going to hit him with a newspaper, so he got off lightly.

I think Buffy would have had your head for that one. (Or your cabbages.)
