I'm back at home in preparation for Things happening, and must must must reply to emails ASAP, but I thought I'd reappear vaguely pointedly, if only because going without the internet feels like dropping off the face of the earth

The urge to vilify one section of the population with overly aggressive language (they are all thugs and should be shot with live rounds! (oh yes, that's a good way to keep the streets safe)) and sweeping statements is what annoys me, when its abundantly clear by the people turning up in court that it isn't just young, black men from crappy estates (although I'll grant they represent a significant proportion) doing this. Email yourself you laptop settings as you fix them. Just keep replying to yourself and adding more information. If you use Gmail it will be *really* easy to find later: even with other forms of email it should be find-able. Or put them in a private post and add it to Memories
And that sounds like a really good idea. I've finally managed to work out that I'm actually missing the software that gives you control over the Touchpad, so I've downloaded that from Dell and hopefully and hopefully should be away (on the mouse at least) very soon...
Oh, thanks! Everything else doesn't suck too badly; I'm just mildly stressed about various things, mainly setting up utilities bills, which puts me in a bad mood.
