Re the election: voting is done, now for the waiting in probable misery. It's strange how utterly depressing it is to find out that there's a BNP candidate for my home constituency. D:

Re the Buffy comic: god forbid I'm one of those kind of fans, but, um, I think I may developing a ( [spoilery] soft spot )

fandom, general, so very random, random

Spike designing and building a trans-dimensional spacecraft is HILARIOUS!

Clearly, in a world where Buffy robs banks and Dawn stomps around Tokyo and Angel puts on a fetish mask, this is EXACTLY WHAT HE'D DO!

I am so ridiculously in love with this post. It made me laugh all over the place.

I am so glad other people are as freaked out by the tiny hands as I am. WHAT THE HELL?

I don't know when I suddenly managed to find the funny, but I was reading the issue and Willow's gleeful face when it appeared on the radar just cracked me up, and I haven't stopped. (At last, a tick I can put in the 'things I like about Willow' column!!)

I don't understand the hands!! JM has big hands and a big head - THAT'S HOW HE WORKS. I do question Jeanty's powers of observation...

(At last, a tick I can put in the 'things I like about Willow' column!!) You and me both! :D

THAT'S HOW HE WORKS. I just burst into laughter. No--I exploded. YES. He does have a big head and big hands and sometimes his feet look laughably big in those big stompy boots, too.

Curse you for making me giggle hysterically at work!

Hee, stompy boots...

*can't think of anything*

When you take that panel away by itself like that, it really is kind of awesome. At least, that and your little ficlet made me snorfle.

And thanks for that - it was a much needed snorfle!

OK to friend? I need all the snark and snorfling I can get right now! :-P

P.S. -- I kept hoping he would have the goggles on when he came out!

Daddy put the hammer down to get there in time!

Glad to make you snorfle! Completely in the abstract I kind of love this idea (though only with the corollary that Buffy knew about it all along, and her 'this is gonna be bad' line was sarcastically referring to the cheesy entrance Spike was going to make), though I'm sure in September I'll be miffed about the way it goes and/or the fact it's had no build-up at all.

ZOMG, there should have been goggles!! That would have been absolutely perfect. Clearly he was wearing them, but took them off when he left the cockpit.

Ooh, and friending would be lovely! I'll add you back. (Though I'm worried I don't provide a very steady stream of snorflage!!)

Yes, there is a special thingy on the visor build right in for them. Clearly.

God, now I crave Spike/Goggles fic. I have a feeling this is a niche fandom, though.

... What? This is how he made his dramatic entrance? Oh man, that's just class.

Spike = always PURE CLASS.

I KNOW!

Clearly he was sick of not coming to see Buffy because he 'couldn't top' his big exit, so spent three years building this thing - just so no one could say burning to death was more impressive... *nods* ;)

Oh, this fan wankage wins at life. Can't top a good exit, so you'd better make one hell of an entrance!
