this was very heart-wrenching. i really feel the despair that she is going through. dark yet it keeps you glued till the day she finally ends it all. thank you for posting this.

Thank you - glad you liked this. I found the whole idea of her killing herself depressing, actually.

it is depressing but it makes you feel helpless to do anything for her since she has resigned herself to end it all and there is nothing you can do about it. ;-;

I always wondered why people didn't think of keeping diaries, and then eventually renouncing the Death Note. This fic addressed that for me! (Oh Rem, naughty. Telling Misa her death day.)

Just because someone renounces their memories doesn't mean there's not other evidence!~ It's not like the shinigami destroy them...

I think Rem could refuse Misa nothing, and it would be a natural question for her to ask.

Even though it isn't explicitly mentioned, I feel like there's DEPTH to Misa in this piece, but she still seems very in character. It's beautiful.

Thank you. Misa's a hard character to work with sometimes because she comes off as ultra-flaky stalker fangirl in the series.

I really liked how you talked about her emotions and made them so tangible.

P.S 2nd line, 1st paragraph "and they let Misa her keep her distance" double "her"?

Thank you. I found it shocking that she kills herself THEN... it seems like a really weird time to do it, since Light's been dead over a year.
