It seems there's such a thing as too much sugar even for L. ~_^
You do have such good insights into this character. You make someone who comes across as just plain odd in canon sometimes a hundred percent belivable -- you make everything he does seem practically *logical.*
I imagine Raito's *not* going to be happy when he realizes L went behind his back.
I don't know why I've had such luck with L, because he's not my favorite. However, I do see him as vastly logical, and he'd be able to justify just about anything.
Don't socks absorb sweat? I mean, anything on your feet makes them sweat, but at least with socks it feels dry... ?? I hate wearing shoes with no socks because of this fact.
Wow.. Since the time you posted this chapter, I've been reading from the beginning, and loved every moment of it. This story is so wonderful! I adore how L and Raito interact, because it's so true to the manga. Can't wait for the next chapter~ ♥

Hmm... that's an interesting solution for why L doesn't wear shoes and socks thou; bad arches...

There's some canon here, but I've found AUs work best when they draw on the already established happenings.

Indeed... but since I've got arch problems as well... so, yeah... I can sympathize with L...
But yeah... will be interesting to see the diary of MisaMisa and her friend.

I love the little details about L, how he can't sing, but yet he has an equivalent of a black belt in karate (^_~ typical).
Raito will not be pleased in the chapter(s) to come, eh?

I thought karate was a good choice, since L seems to fight with his legs and karate relies quite a bit on kicks.
