If Count D existed in the Death Note universe (or vice versa), I'm sure their meeting would be exactly as you wrote it. ^_^

I think it's a case of D manipulating Raito, really, because Raito with a kirin would accomplish exactly what D wanted.

Love the idea of Count D and Light meeting.
Still I think I missed something. I have only the basic knowledge of Pet Shop of Horrors.
What is a Kirin?

A kirin is an Asian mythical beast that resembles a unicorn. They're the sacred pet of dieties - and people who own them become great rulers, for good or ill. Petshop implied that Hitler and Roosevelt both owned them, for example.

Ohhhhh heee heee heeee then indeed I missed a lot. Light having a Kirin is a scary thought but also amazing.
