I refreshed my f-list and this caught my eye and I managed to spill water all over myself. (Because I'm just that talented!)

As always, your fic is excellent and I love how human you make L seem. He's so logical and cunning-- and so canon. It's fascinating how you get inside his head and the way you describe him trying to track down Kira.

Raito always preferred to be seated closer to the door in any situation One of the things I love about your fics is how you always have just the right amount of detail and description-- and this is something that strikes me as Raito . I can imagine this being in the manga (and woe, I have to admit that I haven't been very good at keeping up with the latest chapters).

L turned the cup so he could drink from the opposite side Raito had used. No need to share germs. *g* You just killed all the LxRaito fangirls' dreams. No indirect kiss. L's too logical. *sighs wistfully*

I hope you write more. ^_^ I'm enjoying this a lot.

I like to think my L is very divorced from his surroundings.

I think I like the contrast of what L and Raito do about choosing chairs - Rait's ready to run, but L plans on throwing Raito in the way of harm, first.

And no, no indirect kiss. I thought of it, but it's just not them.

And you even got in a dig at the source too with the dream, with L and Raito imagining what it would be like duking it out to the bitter end... ^_^;

It might be a comment made by Misa when she gets to know those two. Saying something how they don't have issues, no... they've got a subscription to a magazine. ^_-

And those two would be rightfully miffed... yeap. On the upshot, that'd be an interesting meeting/alliance. L, Light and Misa.

Yay! I really liked this chapter... but one thing... WHERE'S THE TENNIS GAME?? *cries* I wanted to read it. Anyway, I'm liking the way the story's going, it's really believable that such a thing could happen if they met like that! Update again soon!
