Somehow the last sentence made an impact on me...*wonders*

Short, but great. ^___^ Love this.

Thanks. I started with the last line and worked backwards. Glad you liked.

Huzzah, one for a series I've read. :)

I like the style and repetitation of (noun) (verb) and in this case, the use of the word 'knew' twice. It gives a nice emphasis and flow. And then the last sentence being a different setup really gave it that oomph to set it off as a revelation.

Nice story; I liked this a lot. ^_^

Thanks. Most 100 word stories should depend on rhthym, I think. It's important... the end was supposed to stand out.

Thanks for the compliment.

100 words exactly always requires a lot of manipulating. I'm glad you appreciate them.

The best vengeance he'd ever find was in Leorio's smile, in Gon's laugh.

Oh, that's just a lovely setiment! {huggles on Killua} At first, I really did like Kurapika the most, but then Killua snuck in and stole my heart so quickly! And I think it really was his disbelief and slow realization that Gon (and to a lesser extent, Leorio) really was...well, for *real*... {grins} Killua's and Gon's relationship is so beautiful boyishly innocent, they're just begging to be slashed {sighs}

^_^ It is a sweet idea. It's "living well is the best revenge."

And my Kurapica/Killua love is similar to yours.

I like how you write Killua, because he's way beyond his years in the series. Much love to you for doing this~! <3

He's mature when he needs to be. He has a better understand of the human condition than most.
