♥ This was really interesting! I ..still haven't read bleach yet, but I know enough of the characters to follow (which is good, because otherwise I would be really confused)

the stench which filled the room almost made me wretch.
a wretch is a vile person...? *confused*

You randomly switch to present tense a lot in this fic: is it intentional?

Should be "retch," good catch.

And yes, the tense shifts are intentional.

You need to see Bleach!!! The manga is better than the anime, but the anime is still pretty solid (just skip the filler arcs).
