He looked like a sulky child, pouting his lip out so cutely that it made the newly-named Shouryuu long to ruffle his hair and offer him a sweet.
*giggle* I wonder what would happen if he tried~

He'd probably get bitten. Hard. So much for nonviolent nature of the kirin.

A bit of melancholy to what began as a bright, if contemplative piece. I like this, and I like seeing En-Ou acknowledge what will come to pass eventually. In the end, the 12 Kingdoms has its own flaws as much as any other, and this is on of them. In some ways, it's worse than our world, since if you ensure that the heir is good, the kingdom can prosper indefinitely.

I much prefer Valdemar's system really. XP

It's great to get a POV of Shouryuu being dead earnest--and the connection to Enki is fantastic.

Every time I think of the eventual downfall of Shouryuu, I want to cry. Anyway, this was short and yet wonderful. Thank you for writing this.

It's weird to think on, but all things must pass.

Hello, this is probably going to be a very random, out of date post, but i was wondering if you continued "see it with different eyes" and if so where I could find it? I really loved the opening to that fic.

Thank you, Grey_Lily

*laughs* It is random. I didn't continue it because other people have picked up the plotline, and I don't want to be seen as "copying."
