This really should be canon. It's impossible, I know, but it should be. And you tell it as if it is, and that's beautiful.

The way it works in my head is simple: this is the animated version, continued. Hirose would enter the storyline then, and be there through the Taiki returns arc (which would be paralleled to more of The Demon Child, when all of the deaths start happening). Glad you liked.
