Beautiful. I loved how you built this up with Asen's attempts to lie to himself, only to finally come out and speak the truth. He had done everything for a stupid reason, and all the justification in the world couldn't hide that. I thought that was a beautiful way to write this. Thank you continuing with this!

Thank you! I wanted to do several pieces that extrapolate how several of the dangling plots might get wound up. Obviously Taiki and Gyousou have the most urgent need of being addressed, since it was hanging so horribly.

Asen is a hard character to write since we really don't know that much about him... he seems very secondary in most of the plot.

It's beautiful, and the way you have Asen realise his wrongs is so deftly done.

I REALLY like the theory that he and Gyousou are brothers (someone said they had the same family name)... that would make a heck of a lot of sense.

I thought with all the emphasis on prostration, having Asen humble himself so would be the worst punishment. ^_^ Glad you enjoyed.
