That was absolutely gorgeous!
This is easily my favourite story of the year.
I can't get over how beautiful and original this was. I've never read anything like it before.
The metaphors and the imagery and just every thing about this story I love.
From the way the girl gives Tom his heart back and he's sitting on the park bench crying, clutching his fragmented heart in a brown paper bag to Danny taking it and fixing it.
I have tingles from my head to my toes and this is just absolutely wonderful.
I don't think I have ever loved as story as much.
Viv, you steal my heart every single time.

I squeed when I saw this! You're back!!

Ohh, this was so lovely in every way. I love the whole physical manifestation of giving love away and breaking it, because that's basically what happens, isn't it? And I feel for Tom because he's tired of having his heart broken so many times. This line got to me:

He finds a box, pours the pieces into it, and closes the lid. Finding a space on a shelf, he puts it there, and leaves it

That was so sad because he gave up. But I can't blame him, you know? He's been hurt so many times, he needs his time of peace from all the heartbreak.

And then magic Danny comes along and fixes everything, and it's really a wonderful prospect of Danny staying up and trying to mend Tom's heart. It was so sweet, the imagery of him appearing at his door.

This was gorgeous, bb! And thank you for the dedication!!! Love you for ever and always. :)
