Author’s Notes: In an unusually gloomy and rainy summer afternoon, I opened my mom’s laptop and wrote on an impulse. This took longer to write than I expected it would, most because my ChunJae muse seemed to be MIA, I loved writing it. I hope, that although I may break your hearts with these drabbles, you may enjoy reading them.
Disclaimers: None of the Dong Bang Shin Ki boys are mine no matter how much I wish they would be. The events below are purely a figment of my over-active imagination. The plot is mine.

Yes. And No.
Perhaps he shouldn’t be here.
He watches both of them-JaeJoong and ChangMin-as the latter helps the older one with his Japanese. JaeJoong’s eyes are looking into the taller one’s, amusement in his eyes; it is much too obvious that ChangMin is trying to avoid looking back at him, lest that smile on his face widens. But ChangMin compensates by reaching out and holding JaeJoong’s hand.
And that smile on JaeJoong’s face softens.
It is so simple and so usual that JunSu thinks it shouldn’t affect him.
But it does.
Very much.
*
He should be rolling on the sand, laughing.
He watches the two and shakes his head as JaeJoong holds onto ChangMin as if the latter is his lifeline. Everyone knows that JaeJoong doesn’t know how to swim and refuses to learn how to do so. But ChangMin is persistent; he argues that the only way to cure his phobia is to deal with it face to face. The younger one wins but the moment they step into the water, JaeJoong attaches himself on ChangMin’s back and refuses to let go.
ChangMin laughs and tells JaeJoong that he is just too cute for words.
And YunHo thinks, he should be happy.
But he isn’t.
At least, not for himself.
*
He should’ve known from the start.
He watches them-ChangMin sitting on the couch while JaeJoong rests his head on the other’s leg-and tries to act as if he is occupied with the bag of chips in his hand. The younger one is reading, albeit unusually aloud, Pride and Prejudice. JaeJoong has his eyes closed, a smile curving his lips once in a while. Everyone knows how ChangMin detests it when someone sits beside him while he reads and JaeJoong is known for having lost all hope of ever finishing the aforementioned book.
But here they are right now, defying everything everyone knows.
And YooChun knows he should be the first to understand why and how this is happening.
But deep inside, he doesn’t.
He couldn’t.
