I'll be 20 in May. I've been doing community college since the summer after I graduated. You're probably not too much older than me, I'm just a late bloomer. :D

Thanks!

God, I always feel so young reading ant post about college - it's still a year and a half away for me!

Man, you're at the time of life right now. Wish I was in high school again sometimes (all the time...). Life was much easier back then. :D You get this all the time, no doubt, but savor it, my dear fellow! XD

Hmm... Many of my friends are really looking forward to the day when they're in college, cause they say, and I paraphrase "in college you can do whatever the heck you want." It may be different in America compared to Ireland, I wouldn't know.
I do get that occasionally, but I often look to the future - I savor the day when, about a year and several months from now, I (hopefully) get my acceptance letter from my dream college. Still, I'll savor it, you can bet on that, girl!
I'm 17 and a half right now, in the equivalent of 11th grade (I'm going by the 12-Grade system, I could be wrong...).

Enjoy it as much as you can! Just don't let it absorb you completely out of fanfiction, particularly the drabble contests (I've really liked a lot of your entries) - you're a great writer, Quilly!

No, it's rather the same, but with the vital difference that A) public school doesn't cost money, B) food, shelter, and transportation are more or less provided for by parental units. In college there's much more freedom, but that's a bit of a double-edged sword when you realize you need to do your own grocery shopping and laundry and no one's making you attend class.

12-grade system is what we use here, so you're right. :D It's definitely something to look forward to, I'll agree, but high school is awesome, too. Unfortunately, most of us realize how good we had it (for the most part) in hindsight.

I hope not, and thank you very much, Groudo. ^__^
