50 Book (Summary) Challenge 2009

I saw a post on LJ about people doing a "50 Book Challenge 2009," but can't seem to find out if this is an official sorta thing or if people are just doing it as some sorta meme

When I was in 8th grade, a librarian came to my language arts class and showed us one of those alphabetical phone books, where instead of writing down phone numbers, she had kept a list of every book she had read for the past 20-some years with the author's name and the month she had read it. I thought it was really cool and made my own, and I still try to keep it up. It's kind of fun to look back and see how my tastes have changed over the years. Anyways lol, your post just reminded me of that :)
