A trip to the SF zoo triggers realizations about species endangerment

I helped lead a landscaping project at the SF zoo this morning. Some of the volunteers wore wading boots and extracted weeds from a pit filled with mud. Every single one of them ended up covered in some pretty strong-smelling mud by the end. I really enjoyed reading this post. I recently had an argument,debate with Morgan regarding the scarcity/value/empathy issue between humans and animals. It is a lot of fun for me to hear your musings on it as well.
Now that your office is so close to mine, we should start doing lunch! I think of you everyt ime I bike past your turnoff on Foothill.
Have you ever been to Tofu House? I have been wanting to try it, and it is near our respective abodes. I don't usually eat out, but it would be worth it for some Tony-time.
