Yellow Submarine for me. The film remains one of my all-time favorite animated films (and also tops the lists of animation buffs and historians). Yeah, the Bealtes themselves actually had little to do with the actual film other than providing the songs and filming that little live-action bit at the end (they didn't even provide their own voices for their animated counterparts), but the writing, design, and overall feel of the film captured the Beatles zeitgeist of late sixties/early seventies.

The film is usually credited with being the first film to consist of what was essentially "music videos" -- little animated shorts created specifically to go with each song, with each video having a different, distinctive "look" to art direction and animation. Pop Art was a huge influence on the film, and yet the film itself had a major influence on later Pop Art as well as commercial art.

Since I missed the first Beatles Question, my favorite Beatle is Ringo. I had a crush on him when I was a kid. I even bought (and enjoyed) his solo
