No argument with your Lexi thoughts. That was pretty harrowing.

So I'm still really uncomfortable re: Lexi, especially in context of what Caroline's dad tried to do as well.

And OMG, it was basically everything I want this show to be! I am still not able to have coherent thoughts about it. It was just was frickin' amazing.

Is that ghost power or I'm a really old vampire power? 'Cos that shit don't make sense.

I was confused by that too for a bit, but then I thought about any time vamps have influenced other people's dreams. I'm assuming a hallucination is on par with that same kind of head fuckery.

Hmmm, maybe? But mass hallucination? ie. both Elena and Stefan would have seen it, and then there was Lexi's commentary about it. I don't know.

I think I'm gonna hand wave it, unless it becomes relevant again. Chances are we'll never see anything like it again, remember Damon's crow + fog? Sometimes I find myself wondering what ever happened to that bird...

But on second thought, it is Stefan and Elena so a shared hallucination is completely possible!

I don't think Elena was seeing the hallucination though? Just Stefan's reaction. Because I thought the only time we ever actually saw the physical effect of the starvation from an overhead shot, as if it was Stefan looking down. But I also haven't watched the ep again, so maybe that isn't how it's shot. Lol handwaving is clearly the way to go.
