Oh thank you. I wondered the same things (hence the fic) especially how Hermione's parents deal with it, or even if they know half of what goes on.

This is a delightful gem. I quite enjoyed the mother's reactions to the letter(s) and her conversations with her daughter. Her husband's reaction is priceless. That is a lovely note to end it on. I enjoyed this piece indeed.

Ooh, gorgeous. Love the simple way it says everything, and especially love the way you've managed to make these people very real to us without even telling us who they are. Fantastic.

I often wonder how Muggle parents would react to the revelation that their child can do magicl, and this is a nice look at the subject. I feel for the mother, with her attempts to hold on to her daughter, and I especially like the part where she sees "something die" in the girl's eyes and relents, at least temporarily. Nice!
