Plenty of people have talked about it being fate and destiny. You can pick one, but it doesn't change much.

You can hunt even as you are now. You just need practice and dedication.

Well, you asked also if I couldn't use my Pokemon. I'm working on learning to use a sword, but I don't know why I wouldn't use them?
