Title: 60 Seconds

Summary: The longest 60 seconds of Elle's life.
A/N: Written for Challenge #18 at sylelle_100. It's really quirky and probably comes off as a wannabe pretentious poem rather than a 100 word drabble. :|

rofl I love your description. Nah it doesn't come off that way, I liked the style a lot :) Poor Elle, she's obviously not happy with the results. I can see myself having a similar reaction. But seriously, I really did like the style and the tension it created, it helped set the mood and projected her nervousness nicely.

Haha, well I used to be a part of a literary magazine back in undergrad. Re-reading this made me think of all the entries we got back then and how many of them just screamed pretentious and this reminded me of an entry, lol.

But thanks! I kinda drew on some RL experience but luckily not mine, a friend of mine who was too scared to even buy the pregnancy test so I had to buy it for her, lol.

I loved the style and the tension it caused. You could feel how nervous poor Elle was :(

It's just something I haven't really tried before, which is really trying to capture the emotion of a character in a fic rather than just like "Oh, she's really nervous".

Had a moment like this. The seconds take FOREVER to go by. Of course, I didn't have similar results. Poor, scared Elle <3

Yeah, as I said to disalae, I drew a little bit on RL experience with this one. My friend was freaking out like Elle and I was like the calm one, telling her that I'm sure she wasn't pregnant and that she was just stressed out. And luckily for her, the test came out negative, lol.

Haha yes, nothing angsty here! There's enough Sylar/Elle angst already so I figured I'd try something different with this one.
