Fanfic for the win!!!!

I love this image:

"What was that?" Elle asks sharply as she finds herself on a beach instead of holding onto Sandra Bennet.

Sylar takes a deep breath as he looks at her. The reason he came back.

And everything before it - that he came back for her, and I don't know, maybe I'm crawling into the Sylar's head too much but that sense of relief that he came back for her and she's still there -- and Elle doesn't know any different.

And I adore the open ending -- that he can just pop back, pick up Elle again and create a whole new future. Win.

I love this idea, especially the fact that if Elle keeps dying, he can just go back and recreate their lives. I hope it doesn't keep happening, though.

I think that's what makes the story bittersweet, that there's a possibility that no matter how many times Sylar goes back in time to rescue Elle, she'll end up meeting the same fate each time. Or maybe something will change along the way, it's all up in the air.

I loved this. That he finally got Hiro's power and used it to get Elle back was perfect. And I like the idea that he would use the power to save her again and again, butterflies be damned. There's something oddly romantic about that which makes me very happy.

Loved it, very original and bittersweet. I like how everyone is incorporating the new season as well. Great job!

And yet the show's writers seem to have forgotten that they had Hiro say that and this season, they're having him go back in time to change things. Oy, inconsistencies galore.
