Brilliant. Great use of the Eternal Sunshine premise, and the prose is beautiful. I especially like the fragment about killing Bob. Yay for the Haitian!

Thank you very much! :D

I'm glad people are enjoying my use of the Haitian in this story, lol. I originally didn't even have him in there, I had Parkman and a revised version of what happened in the season finale but I didn't like that version as much and came up with this one instead.

I loved this, both the Syelle bits and the reference to ESotSM. I wasn't a fan of the show at the time - ZQ caught my attention with Star Trek - but I did feel disappointed at the way the Sylar/Elle story ended and it was nice to have a reminder of what was, and a little bit of what might be again if Elle could be revived like so many other Heroes characters.

Thank you very much for your comment!

I have to admit that my interest in Heroes is waning due to the sheer wtf that was season 3 and I had been a fan since the beginning. Obviously a big part of my growing dislike is how the show handled the Sylar/Elle storyline in that they rushed it and then they ended it abruptly by killing Elle off.

Yes, the Sylar redemption story in Villains was jettisoned rather rapidly. In fact, I'm not entirely sure what its purpose was - perhaps they had bigger plans for Sylar and Elle covering both chapters, but RL intervened (KB wanting out? ZQ needing time off for Star Trek?).

Even without Elle, Sylar played hardly any part in the Fugitives storyline; he was starring in the Sylar Road Movie spin-off for most of the second half of the season, until they shoehorned him back in to set up season 4. I can't say I'm optimistic about the next season, but you never know...

Star Trek was filmed during the writer's strike so Zach never actually missed any filming of the show for the movie.

The writers and producers ultimately killed off Elle because Kristen never had a formal contract with the show and during the strike, had signed up for several movies and since she didn't know her availability dates, they killed off Elle. There was a statement made that there were ideas floating around concerning pregnancy but they nixed it due to KB not knowing her schedule.

Thank you very much for your comments!

Too bad in S4, it's not even gonna really be Sylar wondering why he has powers, just Sylar as Nathan wondering why he has more powers than just flying.

I'll have to check out everyone's stories when RL stops kicking my ass and I have time for reading for fun.

Well I loved it! It seemed like something he'd do and then realize...in mid-wipe--what a mistake it was.

...

But I did like the ending. Fate is fate, I guess. :-)
