Okay. So sosoclever and I did a little shopping on Tuesday. I got a new belt. We found Eddie and the Cruisers marked only $5.00 and paid -$5.002 less than that for it. Loved that Flaming Carrot craziness back in the day. There was Ambush Bug, Groo the Wanderer, Boris the Bear and Flaming Carrot and they took care of all my surrealist comic needs.

And what on earth is havarti?

Ooh, Ambush Bug! The most powerful character in the DC universe! We were talking about him here just the other day, especially as pertains to Argh!yle! the Sock Monster!

Havarti is a very soft, mild cheese that goes with just about anything.

Ah Argh!yle! That takes me back. There was a bookshop in a seedy part of inner city Belfast that used to sometimes get boxes of comics in and around 1989 I found all six issues of Son of Ambush Bug for 10p a pop. Halcyon days when American comics seemed so exotic after being raised on a diet of the Dandy and Beano.
