Was he dead? He wasn't sure.
"You're not meant to be here. You can still go back. Start over."
She only gave him a melancholy smile and stepped away as he tried to reach for her.
"Elle, wait! Please!"
Slowly, she faded from his view as his world went black and when his eyes opened again, he found himself not in his own body but of another. A body his mind couldn't seem to control yet. Dimly aware of his surroundings, he could hear crying...his own?
"Congratulations, you have a baby boy!"
It's a new life, his new start.
