Title: Fascinating
Rating: PG
Fandom: Heroes/Star Trek
Characters: Elle, Sylar, Spock
Spoilers: Star Trek wise, nothing really unless you've never seen the clip of Spock questioning Kirk and Scotty . Heroes wise, maybe really minor spoiler for 3.11.
Summary: But then she feels somebody grabbing her and all of a sudden, she's not in the Bennet house anymore.
A/N: My first foray into crossovers and writing for the Star Trek fandom. So hopefully, I didn't really butcher anything! Think of this taking place in the ST09 timeline.
Her hand is still firmly gripping Sandra Bennet when she sees the strange Asian man popping in to call Sylar "bad man" and then disappearing with him just as quickly.
"What the hell?" she wonders out loud. But then she feels somebody grabbing her and all of a sudden, she's not in the Bennet house anymore. She's...well, she's not even sure where the hell she is. Everything seems sterile and exceedingly bright with a million lights here and there. Can't be Pinehearst and definitely not Primatech.
There's a flurry of activity and then she sees many pairs of feet near her. Elle finds herself being pulled to her feet and in the grasp of several men in uniform, albeit in shirts of different colors. These men push her along the brightly lit corridor and she finds herself entering some sort of room.
A tall...man? Someone with a bowl haircut and pointy ears with matching pointy eyebrows walks over to her, his face unreadable. "You...we are traveling at warp. How did you manage to beam aboard this ship?"
"Beam? Oh, is that how I got here?" Elle shrugs nonchalantly. "Wait, ship? What do you mean by that?"
If the person standing before her was frustrated by her lack of answers, he didn't show it. "The USS Enterprise, we're traveling through space at warp. Now how did you manage to beam aboard this ship?"
At the mention of space, Elle's eyes widen. "I'm on a...spaceship? What year is it?"
The pointy eared guy starts rattling off numbers that don't even make sense to Elle and her eyes search the rest of the room. When her gaze falls back on the pointy eared guy, she gives him a quizzical look and raises her hand to show her sparks.
"Fascinating."
Elle opens her mouth to answer but before she can say a word, loud noises sound off behind her and crewmen holding her temporarily let her go. Just then Elle sees a crew member fly by her and crash onto the floor. She smiles as she realizes who could be doing that.
"Elle!"
"Do you know how we got here?"
"Hiro Nakamura..."
"Strange day," Elle mutters as she sees Sylar advance towards the quiet and stoic man that was interrogating her. He holds his arm out but before he can even think about twitching his fingers, the other already has his hand around Sylar's neck and presses down. Elle watches Sylar go down hard, her jaw dropping.
"Humans...such fascinating creatures. Take them down to the medical area and have the physician look at them. The girl is bleeding." He turns away, back to staring at the myriad of lit up controls lining the wall of the room.
Elle is too surprised to put up a fight and lets the crew take her and Sylar away. Once in the hallway, she finds her voice again. She turns to a crewman near her. "Who was that guy or whatever he is?"
"That's Captain Spock and he's part Vulcan."
"Vulcan? What is that? An alien?"
"That's an archaic term."
"Whatever. So he's not human?"
"I believe he's part human."
"Oh." The door opens and Elle finds herself in the medical area. "Fascinating." A slow smile crosses her face as she realizes she just found some new toys to play with.
