I'm afraid of commenting on your post for fear of looking like a bigot, or something, but ♥♥♥ (also, it was just an omelette)! Thank you so, so much, really. :) Incidentally, my sociology professor keeps mentioning hegemony, and he describes it as the ability to make people accept and participate in one's domination/exploitation thereof, and I just keep thinking, well, that sounds familiar.
