Summary: Summary: Sam is in trouble. Not just his body...and not from the monster.
Snippet:
He wakes - only not really. He stands on a cliff. Beyond, endless water. Deep, dark navy - untrue. No clouds, only a sea-foam cadence set to his breathing. Waves crashing, rolling, violent collision. Panic. Liquid horizon ending in a simmer, in a blow.
He’s surrounded. Element without existence.
He’s alone.

Info: Super-short Sabriel horror ficlet I wrote for a friend, because we like scary Sabriel more than any other Sabriel. 500 words of Sam being eaten alive. There's a ton of room for visual interpretation on this! Nice marble altar and lots of juicy gore. <3

Dean is dead, his body ravaged by bloodhounds.
Sam is devastated.
But Sam has to pick him up and bury Dean. He can't deal.

Sam gripped Dean's unresponsive arm and pulled his torso upright, head lolling back. Sam caught it gently with his other hand.
Can't hurt him anymore.
Sam couldn't think of what would happen now. He pulled his brother up higher, and gently pushed his shoulder into the crook of Dean's hips, folding him over his shoulder, gently settling him in a fireman's carry.
No one can touch you now, Dean. No one.
The slowly oozing blood started to seep into his clothes. He ignored it. He had to get Dean to safety. There had to be a spell. He would find a way to save Dean.
