So, yeah. I went and saw it again on Saturday. I dragged my mom with me because I needed to be able to talk about it with someone. And I figured she'd like it because generally if it isn't a horror movie and keeps me entertained for the full two and more-than-a-half hours, she likes it as much as me

I miss Greece. HARD.
I need to scan and share photos from my childhood there. I also really want to go back for, minimum, a year. If I could set it up to where I'd be financially secure and employed, I would move back there for good.

That movie kicks all kinds of ass. I'm optimistic so I go with "He's back to RL" (that little boy definitely has longer hair than before, yo!) and even if he wasn't, he'd go back asap, after realising it.
Especially love that it's much fun to discuss this movie and go through the different possibilities you're left with. Never heard a whole theatre gasp and go "Noooo, how could you?!" in the end. *g* And just before that, "Stop spinning, stop SPINNING, DAMMIT!"
So uhm, yeah, hi! Great totem! Lovely icons, btw. (OMG, it's KKBB there too! You've got impeccable taste!)

It really is something else when you've got everyone surrounding you all saying the same thing in all seriousness. Not like going to a horror movie in the middle of the night, kinda drunk, and yelling at the screen with fellow drunkards... That's another kind of unity.
Inception sucked everyone in. Not a single moment felt unnecessary. And unlike the formulaic summer blockbuster, there was reason and meaning behind everything that happened. And you're right-the post-movie discussions are half the fun of it. Turning to strangers on the way out of the theater and asking them their thoughts... Not many things are capable of creating that instant bond.
I always love meeting new people with similar interests here on LJ! Thank you for dropping by-I hope you won't mind me friending you. It's not too often I meet people who have even heard of KKBB. I've been using my YouTube channel to try and educate people about it.

And word to "sucked everyone in". The four women behind us (something between 40 and 50 years old) were very annoying at the beginning, giggling and whispering and going "Oh, that's Leonardo!" (wow, you're so observant!) - and then we went from "Hey, you're dreaming!" to "Hey, you're still dreaming!" and after that they shut up. Well, except for the "Stop spinning!" at the end. But that was okay. *g*And discussing this movie is just awesome.
I don't mind at all - friended right back! :)
KKBB is so great and doesn't get enough love at all! It's got everything - and that probably was the problem, they didn't know how to sell it. "Yes, it's got cool action! And it's funny. And uhm, there's romance, too. And drama. And it's also a bit meta..."
I'm still thankful to Total Film, who wouldn't stop gushing about it, so that I had to buy the DVD ( ( ... )

I got this the first time from pretty much everyone: "SHIT."
And "NOT FAIR." the second time around. I think the third time we all may end up just sitting there discussing it with each other.
