Also, regarding my icon-I have ALWAYS wanted a print of that Magritte painting. He's my favorite surrealist. Because "This is Not a Pipe" is right up there with Duchamp's "Fountain" (a urinal that he signed someone else's name on) with awesome pokes at art critics. As far as movements go, I consider Dadaism the most worthwhile and amusing. ( Read more... )

RDJ/Sherlock has been playing in my head for two weeks now. I picked up Neil Gaiman's "Fragile Things" and the first story 'A Study in Emrald' is a Sherlock/HP Lovecraft-Esq story. ( I really need another tentacle icon... ) But anyway pick it up; at least from the library or snag the book and a chair at your local bookstore.
