I was so stoked to get indiachick's name in the spn_j2_xmas draw! Her mind works in strange and mysterious ways. And okay, so she didn't want a 'happy' holiday pic but I'm totally good with that. :D Caution: tentacles and possible character death. \0/! (Work safe, though. I swear...)

Whee, thank you! It took a stupid amount of digital fiddling but the original pencil drawing (not the scan) is still my fave. Happy holidays, teb! *eggnoggy smish*

Yanno what's interesting? I didn't really have a backstory in mind when I did this; I just took disparate prompts from Indiachick and mashed them together. What's really cool is reading how everyone interprets it. I never thought of Sam as the monster (Why not?!) but I totally dig it! Thinking of the image quite differently now... :D

It immediately made me think of deadite eyes, and of course since I just read that story where Sam is deadite possessed for a bit, it's still fresh in my mind ; )

But more importantly- I had the sense that the larger monster was using him as a mouthpiece, reanimating and utilizing his body. Which is awesomely creepy.

Dead!Sam is really beautiful though. I love the colors even if he terrifies me.

I confess; I have a think for the macabre (No, really??) and I just love that near-iridescent death pallor. I'm sure, however, if I saw the real McCoy, I wouldn't be nearly as smitten. Thanks, though!
